Trauma, manual therapies, and the LGBTQ+ community.

The course covers an overview of the health inequalities experienced by LGBTQ+ people; the practicalities of providing hands-on care including pharmaceutical and surgical considerations- with particular acknowledgement and exploration of care for transgender patients; recognising and understanding pathologies most prevalent in LGBTQ+ people; how to create an inclusive and affirmative clinic space; inclusive marketing and intake forms, and much more.
